Packet Pick Up

The following is very important information you will need once your child has been registered for the Halloween Young Run. Note: If it is after October 17th and you have not yet registered your child, it is too late to register for the run. No registrations can be accepted after Saturday, October 17th.

Each runner will receive his or her own runner packet, consisting of runner number, goody bag, and t-shirt (if purchased). Runner packets may be picked up at the following times:

• Saturday, October 17th from 10am to 4pm at NASA Federal Credit Union (1592-B Rockville Pike). > Directions This is the best time to pick up your packet. You can avoid the rush on race morning. Overflow parking for packet pickup will be at the Twinbrook Metro. From 355 North turn right onto Halpine and right onto Chapman and left into the metro parking lot. Metro parking is free on Saturday.
  
• Raceday Morning starting at 7:30 am. Please pick up your child's runner packet on Saturday at the race site, if at all possible.

No new registrations will be accepted on Raceday. If you have not postmarked your entry by Oct. 12, you may only register in person at packet pickup on Saturday, October 17th.  Registration fee increases to $25.  Please do not come to the race expecting to register your child for the race.

Sorry, No Refunds. Please note that there can be no refunds. If your child will not be able to run the race, and you want your t-shirt and packet, you must pick them up on Saturday. We will not be able to mail them.

Directions From Baltimore
Take I-95 S toward Washington.
Merge onto I-495 W/Capital Beltway via exit 27 toward Silver Spring.
Merge onto Rockville Pike/MD-355 N via exit 34 toward Wisconsin Ave/Bethesda/Rockville.
Continue for approximately 3.6 miles.
NASA Federal Credit Union is located on the right side of the street behind the Pier One.

Directions From Washington, D.C.
Merge onto I-66 W/US-50 W.
Take the US-50W/Arlington Blvd/GW Parkway exit.
Merge onto George Washington Memorial Parkway N/GW Parkway N (Crossing into Virginia).
Merge onto I-495 N/Capital Beltway toward Maryland (Crossing into Maryland).
Keep left to take I-270 Spur N via exit 38 toward Rockville/Frederick.
Take the Democracy Blvd. exit, exit 1.
Take the Democracy Blvd. East ramp.
Merge onto Democracy Blvd.
Turn left onto MD-187 N/Old Georgetown Road.
Turn left onto Rockville Pike/MD-355 N.
NASA Federal Credit Union is located on the right side of the street behind the Pier One.

Directions from Frederick:
Merge onto I-270 S.
Keep right to take I-270 Local S via exit 8 toward Shady Grove Rd./Local Lanes.
Take the Montrose Rd. East exit, exit 4A.
Merge onto Montrose Rd.
Turn left onto Rockville Pike/MD-355 N.
NASA Federal Credit Union is located on the right side of the street behind the Pier One.
